Lili goes Patriotic

Hi, its Cyndi here and I am so thrilled to be the guest designer for the Inkettes this month! Its my turn for the Inspiration post today and I thought it would be fun to dress Lili up for July 4th. I used the image Lili’s Ice Cream (still available at Special Show pricing! ) from the Inky Impressions Store. She’s wearing a denim frock with a red, white, and blue polka dotted top and bandana…ready to head to the parade!

My papers come from Piggy Tales , the Yankee Doodle Dandy line...and the cute stickers are old as the hills from Doodlebug…but still such a perfect touch! Why don’t you go through your sticker stash and see if you can find some treasure that you forgot you had!

Thanks for your visit today! I hope I've given you a bit of inspiration :)

Ice Cream Inspiration

Good morning all it is time to share another bit of Inky Impressions Lili's Ice Cream Inspiration! That's right, today I have a creation to share with you using one of the fun stamps from the Inky Impressions Store!

For my card today I wanted to use this stamp, I wanted to make a fun girlie card and I also decided to play along with two current challenges! I use this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch, that I rotated to work with the image, as well as the current Color Throwdown Challenge! The current Color Throwndown Challenge uses the colors found in the Echo Park Springtime Designer Paper, so I pulled out that paper and whipped up a card using it and matched the cardstock to the shades as well.

Have you heard about the current sale? Well, Inky Impressions had such a great show at the AIS convention that Nicole decided to continue on the sale through the store too! Be sure to head on over to the store and take advantage of this sale while you still can, you won't regret it!

Thank you for stopping by today, I do hope that you enjoy my creation for today and have a fabulous day!

It's a royal occasion in the UK today

Good Morning Inkettes

Well what a day... If you are not aware it is the Royal Wedding of Prince William and (soon to be Princess) Kate.. The UK is totally crazy at the minute!!

So with this in mind I set about making today's card.... no not a Wedding card... I went with something British lol!!

So I had a long hard think and came up with this!!

Oh yes... Ice creams on the beach lol (well anywhere really!!!)
Isn't Lilli a cutie with her ice cream? You can get her here

Right I am off to watch the Wedding!!

Lili screams for Icecream!!

Good morning! This morning I have a card to share with you all using Lili's Icecream ... doesn't that look yummy!! I know with most of you icecream is a bit of a funny idea at the moment but here where I am it's still quite warm so icecream is a nice idea! LOL!!

The pink drops on the side were actually CLEAR Inky Dinky Drops... I love the way these clear drops can be coloured to perfectly suit the colours in the image and the papers etc.. For these ones I coloured them with my RV02 copic marker - so that it matches the pinks!!

I hope you all have a GREAT day.. don't forget to join in our current challenge - to make an easel card! Check it out HERE!

And there is still time for you to enter the DT call too... scroll down on this blog for more info!!!
