An Inky Easter Basket!

Hello friends!! Happy Hump Day!!  Thanks for joining me here today!!
Today is my turn to post and it's my turn to show you Anything But a Card!
I thought that with me being so in the mood for Spring and Easter couldn't get here soon enough, that I would create this really easy peasy Easter basket to put both you and me in the mood! :)

I've used the darling Lili's Stuffed Bunny image, cut her out and attached her to the front of my basket.  The grass was created from a Fiskars border punch and the "eggs" peeking through the grass were created from my small oval punch, punching from various papers.

This basket is so easy that I've memorized the directions on how to make it!!  (There are also different variations you could make of this same box...but it's so easy, I know you'll figure it out!) ;)

DIRECTIONS:  Simply cut out a square piece of card stock (any size really) and then just score mark a tic-tac-toe board on it.  The card stock size I've used here is an 8 1/2" square piece and then I just scored 2 1/2" from each side and each end.  Then of course you would cut along the score marks to the middle (on the two opposite sides) and then fold all marks and attach your box together!  For the handle...cut any width you like (I've used my border punches to determine my size here) and make it long enough to bend over each side to make a basket handle.  Mine here is 8 1/2" long.  SEE?!!  Easy, right?!

And here is another view of the basket so that you can see better the details of how I put it together and the handle.  Then all that is left is to fill it with Easter goodies!!

So now that you know how to make these really simple baskets/boxes, it's YOUR turn to create!  Let us know if you try this out!  We'd love to see what you did!! :)

**Don't forget that our lovely Joey has a new challenge up for you using your spots and stripes!!  So hop on over to the Inky Impressions Challenge Blog and be inspired by all of the amazing inspiration from the talented DT and join in the fun!!**  (perhaps you can make a basket with dots and stripes?!!!??  LOL!)

Have an Inky wonderful day and thanks for checking in with us!!
