Paper Pillow Gift Box - Tutorial

Hi Inky Friends! :)

Today I´m going to show you a little tutorial how to make a paper pillow gift box. It´s easy and so much fun to do :)

Here is supplies what you need:

1. I made a scour line 1/4 inch from one edge of the cardstock.

2. At this point, I´ve inked all the edges with Distress Ink - Walnut Stain and I added lace and patterned paper size 6,5inc x 4inc. You can also do this pillow box directly with patterned paper.
Then I put double-sided tape on the top of the fold ( you can also use a glue).

  3. Fold the sheet over and match the opposite edge and press firmly.

4. Use something that is curved (I used an old CD) and a pencil. Then line the CD up with the two marks on the folds and draw in the curve on both ends and cut off the ends along the pencil line.

5. Then using the CD again and your bone folder, score a curve in the other direction. Repeat this at the other end.

6. Now carefully open the paper slightly and fold the edges along the score marks carefully on side.

7. Now you can decorate the box many ways using ribbons, labels etc.
I´ve decorated my pillow box by using this adorable stamp "Nickie`s Birdie". Coloured her with my Distresses. Then I also used some ribbon and flowers.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial :)
Have a wonderful day :)
Hugs,
Karita
