Altered photo frame

Hi, it's Lora here and today I have an altered photo frame to show you.
The frame was an old plain dark brown wooden one that I got from my MIL. It's quite small which I thought would make it much easier to cover but it has ridges around it which made it a lot more difficult, so I think next time I will stick with a flat frame.

I covered the whole thing with some Laura Ashley paper and used Lili's Prayer which was coloured with Promarkers and a bit of glitter here and there to make her sparkly :)
I added some different flowers from my stash and some flourishes that were cut with a Marianne Designs die, and I also used a couple of clear Inky Dinky Drops from the Inky Impressions store, in amongst my flower arrangement in the top right corner.
you can't see them very well in these pics, but you can in real life and it looks a bit like dew drops :)

You can just about see the 2 Inky Dinky Drops that I used in this pic beside the flourishes. I love these because you can still see the patterned paper underneath them.

Now I just need to find a photo to put in it and it will be complete.

I hope my frame has gave you a little bit of inspiration today. Remember to check back every day for more inspiration from the design team! :)

  2. Stunning frame! You did a fab job even with the uneven ridges. What kind of adhesive did you use? Found you on the Outlawz and am now a follower!
    Have a happy scrappy day,
