~ Draped Ribbon Tutorial ~

Happy Tuesday!

Holly here to share with you a quick and easy way to add drama to your cards with draped ribbon.

I've been using this technique for quite awhile and I am constantly being asked how it's done... well, I'm here to tell you that it is as easy as pie!

First, create your card base and tie a bow with long tails.  Attach the bow in either the upper left or upper right corner (depending on your preference and layout) using a strong glue.   I use Aleene's fast grab glue as it dries quickly and is very strong.

Next, cut small pieces of sticky tape (or other strong adhesive) and space them down the sides and across the top, where your ribbon will drape.

Take the long leg of your ribbon and either bunch it, or create a hump then adhere to the sticky tape.  When you reach the bottom, cut your ends appropriately.

Finish off your card and admire your handiwork!
Easy, huh?  Give it a try!
