Hello and a very happy Saturday to you! I am Mary J and very chuffed to be one of the July/August guest designers for Inky Impressions! Before I show you my card, here's a quick intro!
I began cardmaking in 2007 after being introduced to it by a work colleague but only managed to make a card a month. So I started my own blog Where's My Creativity? in 2009 as a way to challenge myself and improve my skills. I primarily love stamping and - as my husband calls it - colouring them in! I enjoy watercolouring and using pencils but I always tend to reach for my Copics because of the limited time I have.
I love to experiment and try new styles and techniques from clean and simple to vintage. My natural style has to be clean lines, little embellishing and using my punches and dies. I tend to go for cutesy, sweet images which is why I love Inky Impressions so much - from the gorgeous girls to the adorable animals!
So for my first guest designer make, I decided to use Hazel Baking Cookies...
Isn't she beautiful? The frilly apron and sweet bows are toooooo adorable! I matched Hazel up with DCWV papers and my Martha Stewart doily border punch.
Well, that is it from me for now and I'll be back soon with some more Inky Impressions projects!
