Christmas in September with Marisa

Hello Everyone! I know it is only September but this sweet digi stamp "Marisa's Sleigh Ride" really inspired me to make a special Christmas ornament to share with you today.

At Michaels they sell different shaped chip board books for $1.50. I found this cool mitten which I envisioned creating a Christmas ornament using my image.

I used the chip board shape to trace my paper and before covering with paper.  I inked the chip board with Distress Ink - Evergreen Bough. This way you don't see grey chip board around your edges and it gives it a nice finished look.

I used Copic Markers to color my image: Face - E000, E00, R20; Hair - E31,YR20, YR21; Sleigh - E43, E42, E41; Present -R20; Clothing and Hat- B000, B01, BG10, BG11, BG23, Boots -C00, C01, C03; Candy - B000, B01, R20, R00, R01. I used Liquid glass on the candy dot on the sleigh to give it some dimension. I used glitter on her pom, poms and for the snow around the sleigh I used white flower soft. A silver glitter pen was used on the sleigh runners, hardware on the sleigh, the bow on the gift and the stripes on the candy canes.
The sentiment is also digital. I ran the card stock through my printer then used the Memory Box Die Snowflake Ornament. The other die was also from Memory Box -Frosty Border. I added pearl bling to the snowflakes and ornament to add some interest.

The rim of the mitten is trimmed with snowflake ribbon and I used some plastic snowflakes from my stash. To finish off the mitten I used a Tim Holtz Token with a silver ribbon to bring out the colors of the DP which is from Martha Stewart. Around the edges of all the DP I used Distress Ink - Evergreen Bough.

I used  to pop the image and the ornament on the chip board for a 3-D look.
