In Celebration of World Card Making Day

Hi....Margreet here!
In Celebration of World Card Making Day I made this card for the Inky Inspirational Blog.

I started with a double square card. On top I sewed another white card with the sewing machine. Then a card made with Grand Nestabilities Labels One and embossed it with the snowflake Cuttlebug folder, afterwards I put some Gesso around it.
The adorable Marleigha and Pebbles (for sale here) are coloured with copics. I treated the ice with Stickles, but unfortunately it turned a kind of pink on the photo (in real it is white and shiny). I used my new nesties Decorative Labels One to die cut the image.
At the left top I enclosed a Doohickey with a shiny bow. I used a LOTV stamp set to stamp on it. At the right top I first stuck 4 flowers (cut from a branch full of flowers, bought in a kind of dollar store), the a Doohickey flower with Stickles around it, then a plastic snowstar with a silk rose on top. The fab snowstar was sent to me by my Canadian friend Lori.
I also used some gauze and a ribbon, on which I attached a large bow with an pearl pin. I sewed a pearl star on the bow and a penguin charm is hanging on it. That lovely charm is bought at Inky Impressions.
At the right bottom another plastic snowstar with a pearl on top.

Oh oh...here the snow looks very pinky....

At the inside of the tag I stamped the text Merry Christmas.

Hope you enjoyed my inspirational card and I wish you all a wonderful weekend!
