Start with a scrap of paper approximately 1 1/2 inches by 11 inches and score it in the middle. . . |
Find a rectangle die of your choice and run the folded scrap through your favorite cutting machine. . . |
And this is what you should have. . . |
I chose Nickie Running Late for School and colored her with Copic markers. . . |
I chose some coordinating cardstock and pattern paper. . . |
And then ran them through my cutting machine and trimmed them to fit. . . |
I added a little coordinating ribbon at the top. . . |
Then I attached two sticky magnets so the bookmark would stay put in the book. . . |
Here is the finished project. . . |
And here it is doing it's job! |
