Inky Bookmark

Good morning Inky friends! It's Lesa here to bring you another Inky Impressions Inspiration project!  It's hard to believe that summer is zooming by at breakneck speed, but before you know it school days will be upon us.  With that in mind, today I am showing you a a super fun way to make a bookmark which will be perfect for all those reading assignments!

Start with a scrap of paper approximately 1 1/2 inches by 11 inches and score it in the middle. . .
Find a rectangle die of your choice and run the folded scrap through your favorite cutting machine. . .
And this is what you should have. . .
I chose Nickie Running Late for School and colored her with Copic markers. . .
I chose some coordinating cardstock and pattern paper. . .
And then ran them through my cutting machine and trimmed them to fit. . .
I added a little coordinating ribbon at the top. . .
Then I attached two sticky magnets so the bookmark would stay put in the book. . .
Here is the finished project. . .
And here it is doing it's job!

I hope you enjoyed my project today!  I look forward to seeing you again soon!
