Fairy Lili

Hi it's Shell here with my weekly Inky Inspiration for you. This week I decided to show you a rubber stamp image called 'Fairy Lili'. I just love her, I have decoupaged her tutu to give this fab image a bit more dimension & to show you what can be done with these fab stamps!

I thought bright pink hair would suit Lili!

You will find further details on how I made my card on my blog..

Fairy Lili

Hey there everyone! Tanya here today to share with you..I switched days so now you'll see me on Saturdays :)

I've had a busy week this week getting ready for our family to arrive so crafting time was minimal.  I did get a chance to get this card done for this week's post.  I used my very first Inky image that I bought, Fairy Lili...she is my favorite stamp and will always hold a special spot in my heart :)

Fairy Lili Box

Hello it's Kerry here & today I am going to show you a little wooden Box I have made for my second daughter Charlotte.
I have used Fairy Lili for this box. I love to used Inky Impressions stamps on things other than just cards.
Above is the lid of the box, Charlotte picked the image & the colours for this little box. Her biggest wish was that it was Pink. So I think we covered the pink.
So to cover the box we painted it hot pink than when dry gave it a coat of white. Than when that was dry Charlotte & I sanded it back to give it a washed look.
Above is a side view of the box & as you can see I put a strip of pearl around the bottom of the box. I also put the pearls around the top of the lid.
To colour Lili I used my copic markers after colouring her I sparkled the wings.
After I glued her to the box I place some pink pearls around her, I than covered the lid with Glossy accents to protect Lili & give the lid a nice shine. I did not cover the wings because of the Sparkle & the pearls are covered half way up to stop them coming off.
I have include Charlotte name on the box so it would be something extra special for her. It now sits very proudly on her bedside table.

This box was so easy to make. All you need is :

1x Plain wooden box from any craft store
paint
pearls
rub on letters
glossy accents
1x Inky Impressions Stamp
& some time

So I hope Charlotte's Box has inspired you to make something using a Inky Impressions Stamp.
If you don't have a stamp why don't pop over now & pick one up Here.

All the best
Kerry

Circle cards Tutorial

Hi Inkettes Carrie here

I have made a few circle cards over the last few months and a few people have asked how I did them so I have done a little tutorial.

Please remember this is just how I do it... there are other ways!!

So Firstly I get a 6x6 card blank but you can get any size

I fold it as usual

Then I line up the card with my cutter, I use a cuttlebug but you can do it freehand if you don't have a die cut machine

Remember to leave an overlap on the folded end

and then cut

Then you have.....

This then leaves you free to decorate and here is my finished card

I used Fairy Lili stamp which you can get here

I hope this has inspired you to ditch the square!!

Carrie calling

Well good morning Inkettes..

Carrie here..

Hope you are all well.

Now Inky Mama (Nicole) challenge the inkettes to two things this month... Firstly she challenged us to do anything but a card... then she challenged us to make Christmas ornaments that she could show at conventions to show just how versatile Inky stamps are..

Well you know me.. and I loves a challenge so off I went... I started off a little concerned that I didn't actually have any Inky Christmas stamps....(I know I couldn't believe it either!!!!) but never one to be put off I went thru the stamps I did have... and this is my ornament:

Well - you put Fairys on the tree so why not use Fairy Lili??

I thought about going traditional colours but I love the blue and silver combo as it looks so cold and icy lol..

So why don't you show us what you can do??

xx

Fairy Lili in Black and White

Good morning all it is time to share a bit of Inky Impressions Inspiration! That's right, today I have a creation to share with you using one of the fun stamps from the Inky Impressions Store!

For my card today I wanted to use this stamp Fairy Lili, isn't she sweet! I also wanted to try something different so I used all whites, grays and blacks and distressed the paper I stamped on. I also decided to leave the image black and white as well, I know a bit different for me, but it was the mood I was in.

Thank you for stopping by today, I do hope that you enjoy my creation for today and have a fabulous day!

A card for you

Good morning!  I hope you all are doing great!  Today is my turn to share a little inspiration with you and I thought I'd pull out my very first Inky I ever bought; Fairy Lili.  The image was colored in with copics and I used Cosmo Crickit's Pickie-licious for my dp.  I added some stickles to the wings and "sparkles" around Lili to add a little glimmer :)

There is still plenty of time to join in our current easel card challenge over on the challenge blog

I hope this has inspired you to pull out your Inky's and to get creative.  Have a fantastic day!!
