Cookies for Santa - Treat Bag Covers with Tags

Hi everyone. Sandie here with some inspiration for you in the form of some Treat Bag covers with matching tags.

I used another tutorial from the Splitcoaststampers site. Splitcoast is such a wonderful resource for ideas and templates. You can find the instructions for this treat bag cover HERE. I chose non-traditional christmas colours. You could use these covers for all sorts of occasions and don't forget Valentine's isn't that far away ;)

The sentiment I've used is available in digi format HERE and you can print it to any size so it will fit perfectly onto any of your projects. For the border work I used the Martha Stewart Antique Lace punch. I embossed the white card with the Sizzix Snowflake folder and layered it onto coloured card then adhered it to a contrasting coloured treat back cover.

I punched 2 holes in the top of each treat bag cover with a crop-a-dile and threaded various different ribbons/lace/twine through the holes to close them, then I attached the 'Cookies for Santa' tags with some pink bakers twine.

These are so easy, and are such fun to make. Be sure to link up in the comments if you decide to give them a go. We'd love to see :)

Thanks for dropping by today.
