Angelica's Sled

Good morning crafters, Vicky here to inspire you today with a Christmas card.  I've just read that it's only 62 days until the big day!!  I think I need to make about 2 cards a day to have enough...oh boy, same every year, I wish I'd started earlier!!!

For this card I have used Angelica's Sled and the coordinating Angelica's Pretty Gifts.  I'll be the first to admit that I'm not very into masking, I like to stamp and go, but this one is so easy to use!  I stamped the gifts and masked in the usual way and then just guestimated where Angelica and her sled should go, no lining up gadgets needed.  And it was not just good luck, I have repeated it several times all with excellent results - this combination is a definite winner!!

I coloured this gorgeous image with promarkers and polychromos pencils, and used spellbinders nesties to cut it out.  The paper is My Minds Eye.

I hope you like this card and it has given you some ideas!!

Snowy Angelica's Sled

Good morning all it is time to share a bit of Inky Impressions Inspiration! That's right, today I have a creation to share with you using one of the fun stamps from the Inky Impressions Store! I always have a hard time deciding which image to use next, but I thought this image was prefect for the crazy weather we have been having! I swear it was 72 degrees one day and the next morning it was a snow storm!

For my inspiration post I made this fun wintery card using the adorable Angelica's Sled image! She is just so darn sweet and she looks so cute all bundled up and enjoying the wintery weather! I created this card to follow several recent Splitcoast Stampers challenges. Not only did I follow SC373 but I also incorporated TLC366, which was to create a banner from scratch, super fun and not too hard either. I also used these fabulous flat back pearls from the Inky Impressions Store, you totally need these embellishments, heck what are you waiting for?!

Thank you for stopping by today, I do hope that you enjoy my creation for today and have a fabulous day!

For all those winter birthdays

Hi everyone!  It's Tracy and this is my last guest designer inspirational card for Inky Impressions.  I've had so much fun using these stamps and I'd like to thank Nicole and the DT girls for having me as their guest.  :-)
For this card I've used "Angelica's Sled". I went a little crazy with the paper distressing, but I wanted a lot of texture on the card since I wasn't going to add a lot of embellishments.  The little packages are popped up on pop dots.
There are lots of winter birthdays out there and lots of people still getting snow so I decided to make this a birthday card. The image is colored with Copics and there's lots of Stickles snow. I cut the little tag with a Nestabilites die and then stamped on it with Versamark and embossed the snowflakes in white.
I hope my cards have been an inspiration or at least made you smile.  There's still time to enter this weeks challenge.  I'll see you with one more guest card Wednesday for next week's challenge.
Happy stamping!   Hope you're having a fantastic weekend!

Sending Congrats!

Good morning! Tracy here to share my card that I created using Angelica's Sled!!  I had these adorable papers that I wanted to use up and I was so excited to FINALLY get some ribbon to match it. I colored up Angelica with my Copic markers. I just love coloring these detailed images!! Angelica looks so ready to go sled riding  with her rosy little cheeks.

You can't see if from the picture but I added a healthy dose of stardust stickles to the snow.

Thanks for looking today and be sure to check out the challenge blog and play along with us. This weeks challenge is to use Punches and/or Dies.

Hugs,
