Chatterbox Lili

Today is my day to post here on the Inky Impressions Inspirational blog! 

I had fun coloring up the sweet Chatterbox Lili. I went with a more simple layout to really focus on the image and some softer colors than I normally use. Thought the end result was very sweet and pretty!

It's also a nice touch to just add a few strips of your designer paper and an uncolored image on the inside of your card to finish it off!

A Girly Chatterbox Lili!

Good morning all it is time to share a bit of Inky Impressions Inspiration! That's right, today I have a creation to share with you using one of the fun stamps from the Inky Impressions Store! I usually have a hard time deciding which image to use but I attended a 12 year old's birthday party and I thought that this image would be perfect for her birthday card!

For my inspiration post I made this fun girlie birthday card, I know that it doesn't specifically say 'Happy Birthday', but she loves it! Chatterbox Lili may be my favorite image from our last release, she is so darn cute and fun and using these colors really makes her pop!

Chatterbox Lili

Hi Inky fans! Inkette Sharon here with a card that I hope inspires you today. I'm featuring Chatterbox Lili, one of my favorite Inky Impressions stamps (I say that about every one of them - he he). I love to create with lots of layers and printed papers. I wanted to show you that a card with many layers and embellishments doesn't have to be in vintage style. You can keep the clean edges and bright, fun papers and get a terrific look.

I even created a layer with the image by cutting it out and popping it up on the focal panel. The image is actually the eighth layer on this card. The flower is layered here and so is the compliment of ribbons used (3 layers of ribbon alone).

While I love bright colors and combinations of patterns, multiple layered cards are very rich when done in monochrome fashion, especially with varied textures through embossing. I hope you'll give layers a go on the next card you create with Inky Impressions stamps!
