Inky Impressions Inspiration Gardening Lili!

Today I get the pleasure of sharing with you an Inky Impressions Inspirational creation. For my project today I made a seed packet using the fabulous new image Gardening Lili. I just love how sweet this image looks, okay all the Lili's are sweet but this one makes me smile! I paired her with this bright floral designer paper from Pebbles called Sunny Side and I tried to pull the colors out of the pattern for her outfit. I used lots of yellow and pink to create this project and I think it really captures the image nicely. I do hope you enjoyed what I shared with you today! Happy Saturday to you!  It's Mary J here and it's my turn again to share my Guest Designer card for Inky Impressions and today I used the very sweet Gardening Lili...

Look at those eyes!  So innocent, huh?!  I bet though behind your back she'd be climbing a tree in a minute!  Still, she reminds me of when I was a little girl and used to help (not sure he'd call it that!) with the weeding.  I matched her up with October Afternoon Modern Homemaker papers and My Favorite Things dies and Martha Stewart border punches.

This is my last post as a Guest on the Inky Impressions Design Team. I have had a great time being here, and it got me playing with my inks again, and I was reminded what fun that can be, especially if they are being used on the fabulous Inky Impressions rubber stamps.

I leave you with this little saying to ponder on ...

My mind is a garden.

My thoughts are the seed.

My harvest will be either flower or weed.

and this little card that features "Gardening Lili", a fabulous rubber stamp available in the store HERE

The image, after being coloured using a variety of alcohol markers, was fussy cut and pasted onto a scalloped oval diecut. I sewed on some sequins and beads and attached it to an offcut of DT. A length of velvet ribbon, a velvet bow and a three layer flower where added as embellishment.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my GDT term here at Inky Impressions and am amazed at the wonderful quality of the rubber stamps. So much so that I highly recommend that you visit the store where you will find a delightful selection of rubber stamps, as well as a whole lot more to enhance your papercrafting fun!
