Coloring Little Elephant Tutorial

Today I have Teary Eyed Lili from Inky Impressions and a tutorial on coloring the little elephant.
 1. First I stamped my adorable image with Memento Black ink.
 2. I used my darkest color C6 to outline the face and ears of the elephant.
 3. Then I blended in C4.
 4. Next I blended C2 all over the face and ears.
 5. I repeated the steps on his feet and trunk
 6. I blended all over with C2.
 7. I added R02 to the ears, bottom of feet and face.

8. Then I blended with C2. I dabbed my colorless blender unto a terry cloth and dabbed it all over the elephant to create a mottled elephant skin look.

 Here is the final card:

I am entering this card into the Paper Players Sketch Challenge.

  2. Very cute card, thanks for the tutorial I also heard instead of using your colorless blender on a facecloth, you could also use rubbing alcohol to achieve the same effect and save on your marker. Haven't tried it but thought I would pass along, tfs
