Hi everyone! It's Audrey here with you today. Do you ever spend what seems like a large amount of time trying to choose a perfect patterned paper to fit with your project? I have this problem whenever I don't pick my papers ahead of time - which happens frequently. So, I have learned some techniques to create my own patterned paper in a quick and easy way, and I'm going to share another of those techniques today (shared one last month too:))
All you need is:
1. A blank piece of cardstock - I have chosen a white textured Bazzill, but your cardstock doesn't have to be white.
2. A Kaliedacolor ink pad (this one is really old as SU hasn't sold these for a long time).
3. A solid shape stamp (I chose a square with dots from an old SU set)
Push the colors on the ink pad together
and stamp away!
I then chose to color in Inky Impressions Stamps image "Lili's Pumpkin" with my Copics, Sakura pens and Staedler pens. I cut her out with Lifestyle Crafts die, added a banner die cut from Taylored Expressions, a squirrel sticker from Jolee's Boutique and a sentiment from My Craft Stop cut with Nesties.
Hope you like it and will try this fun technique:)
The colors really match together this way. Fab tutorial and a beautiful card.
